Pair your favorite protein with our delicious Carnitas Slow Cooker Spice, a heritage-inspired blend of dates, garlic, onion, citrus, and cumin.

With no added preservatives or gluten, this all-in-one seasoning is perfect for making tender and crispy carnitas in your slow cooker.

Suggested Use:

• In a slow cooker, add 2.5 lbs of filling of choice and 1/2 cup of water. Cook on low setting for 6-7 hours or until tender.
• Once filling is cooked, reserve 1/2 cup of cooking liquid, and drain the rest.
• Add carnitas seasoning packet to the filling with 1/2 cup of cooking liquid. Mix well.
• For crispy carnitas, spread seasoned filling over a sheet tray, and broil in the oven for 2-3 minutes or until crispy.

Other Ingredients: Sea salt, ground dates, garlic powder, black pepper, onion powder, cassava flour, orange peel and pulp, citric acid, lime juice powder, tomato powder, cumin, oregano, chile flakes, bay leaves, clove, serrano powder.
